FEBRUARY UPDATE

Hi everyone! Well winter is about over and things are starting to pick up. We are in the mits of booking shows for your 2012 season. THIS YEAR WILL BE IBRA OF MICHIGAN'S 10TH YEAR RUNNING. Way to go!!! On that note, last year was a tuff year for a lot of people. This means that this coming season, we need you as members to step up and help us out. WE NEED SPONSORS. Please lend a hand. Also, our youth class has gotten very small and is no longer supporting its self. We are going to have to make the decision to drop to the top 5 in each division for year-end awards.

I would also like to talk about the show booket we put out every year. This book, after mailing, cost us about $600.00. Last year we had about 15 people that sent in a $25.00 ad for that book. There were a few more ads in there, but they were ads the Michigan IBRA covered for long time sponsors. This year we will mail out showbills that I myself will print to save us as a group money. I will try and send them all at once and put them in order. But remember I'm only human. HOPEFULLY, this will save us a little money. YOU AS MEMBERS NEED TO UNDERSTAND that it takes a lot of money to pay for the wonderful awards that are given out at the end of each season. If we have to start cutting corners, the awards will be smaller. This is NOT a one person job. I NEED HELP. I know we are all very busy with our own lives in general, but this stuff has to be done and money does not grow on trees. Last year there were only a few people that even sold raffle tickets. Needless to say, it just paid for itself. I'm sorry if this seems like I'm complaining. I'm not. It's you as members that want too run for $$$ and nice awards, so you as members need to help get the sponsors and shows too help pay for our awards. Things are not getten cheaper, in fact it's going the other way. So please let's try and make OUR 10TH YEAR A GREAT ONE !!    

SHOWBILLS AND APPROVALS need to be sent to me email and snail mail. I will send them to the main office after I approve them. Get this done asap  PLEASE. I am also going to see that all of our show producers that have shows booked for the 2012 season will receive a RULE BOOK. If you do not get one, and I miss you, PLEASE CALL ME so I can get you one before your show. I think that is it for now. Get your shows booked and try to help us out. Thank you!

        REMINDER TO SHOW PRODUCERS

Well the 2012 season is upon us, nationals are over and winter is setting in. I hope you all enjoy your break, winter burrr ... I would like too say CONGRATULATIONS  TOO ALL OF YOU WHO GOT TOO TAKE HOME THE MONEY AND OR TITLES from 2011 nationals ... GOOD JOB !!!  You done your state proud !!! and i hope you all had a very good time. WE need too start getting our 2012 show schedule booked. Don't wait til the last minuite, the dates are starting to fill so get your plains made and shows booked early. This has been a bit of a tough season for all, we need sponsors, and members too step up and help get them. Without sponsors there are no GREAT AWARDS OR MONEY TOO RUN FOR. So PLEASE HELP  us get this done. It is always a tough job, but i cant do it alone. We have new members for the 2012 season, please make them feel welcome. We love new faces. Well for now stay warm , and i hope your winter is short !!!
