Hello Everyone,
What a mild, yet beautiful winter we have had thusfar. This has been great for those of us without access to an indoor arena allowing many to continue barrel racing much further into winter than usual. I hope everyone has noticed a much more diverse area of approve compared to our usual winter show season. This has been accomplished through co-approving with IN. Saddle Up Arena and Yankeetown Arena are two fine arenas not far across the river that offer fine facilities. C Bar C (Crossroads Arena) in Cloverdale, IN has also reopened and is producing several IBRA Super Shows and KY co-approved shows. Most notably we would like thank our in state arenas for their continued support including Hodge Arena, Branum Farms and Red Barn Arena. Please note our newest sponsor Turan Quarter Horses, home to Duckin Fire. We are doing a stallion raffle to support the year end awards program. Please see details above. Wow what a world of difference a month makes in the Weather. Everybody is so excited to be running outside.
Folks its amazing how quick the IBRA Points year has gone. I want to say one thing, get out and earn those points. It will be worth it to you I promise. You will want to be a part of the great end of a great year.
Ky State Finals will be hed in Liberty KY at the Central KY Ag and Expo Center on August 26, 27 and 28th. Folks get in the TOP 5 in Each Division and Run THE KY TOP DOG SHOOTOUT against the other four in your division. This will be a very exciting event. We will Crown the Champion in each Division. This will be a legitament division race and it will be very close I am sure on each.
Members I need your help. We need Sponsors for our State Finals Awards Show. We will be giving away over 15000 Dollars in Awards. I want to challenge every member to come up with 200.00 in Sponsor Dollars. We are going to have the State Finals that everybody will want to be a part of. Please support our Youth as they are going to make a big push with the Stallion Raffle, Generator and 50/50s at the remaining shows. I hope to see you folks at the Shows. Please respond to my challenge and get those Sponsor Dollars in. Everybody who comes up with 500.00 will be in drawing for all their Fees at the State Finals Paid for.
