Hey Guys!

Welcome to the board! We have so many exciting things happening in NC. Our State Awards Show is going to be held in Ashville this year. We will be in the Davis Arena (Lower pen). We were SO EXCITED to secure a date there. The show will be a 3 day show starting on Friday, September 29, running through Sunday, October 1, 2006.
We have jumped out on a limb, added enough money to qualify for a SUPER SHOW status!!!!! As most of you know, that means will be awarding WILD CARDS!!!!!!! We will be having a futurity as well! There is just so much going on, can't wait for everything to be firmed up so I can share all of the good news with you! We have some great sponsors back again this year. WRANGLER IS BACK WITH US and a very special thank you to Nancy Clark for her continued support! Keifer Built Trailers is going to be a great new Sponsor. Many thanks to Ricky and Linda Vaugh with Diamond V Trailer Sales. We are currently working with some other great sponsors and I will be telling you much more about them in the near future.

Dr. Jim Meeker, dvm has kindly agreed to be our horse show vet. He will be bringing with him the latest state of the art digital equipment to offer and provide the lastest technology available for your horse. Dr. Meeker has been a loyal supporter of IBRA for years and we truly appreciate all he does for us!

I would like to extend an invitation to the surrounding IBRA STATE DIRECTORS to contact me. Since we are qualified as a Super Show, I have some great ideas for the neighboring states to earn BONUS BUCKS to be paid in addition to the class paybacks. If you are interested, please contact me. It will be a great opportunity for your state members!

I would also like to thank all of our wonderful show promoters and members who have been hosting and attending IBRA sanctioned shows! We truly have had some great shows and I could not be more blessed to work with such a great group of people! Our shows are fun and there is a great fellwoship amoung our members. I love hearing from you guys how much you enjoy our shows and how much fun they have been. It really is a unique atmosphere! Special thanks to Running HOrse Arena (Jackie and Bruce) for hosting a FANTASTIC winter series. It is people like you that go above and beyond to make things great for everyone! Jackie and Bruce kindly awarded great prizes at the last show for members who had been attending the series. There were great door prizes and drawings! Everyone had a really good time!

Mike Jones and Walter Tharrington will also be hosting an IBRA SUPER SHOW in Williamston, NC in September. Want to talk about great members, great CHARTER SPONSORS: Mike & Walter will NOT be charging any IBRA fees with your entry fee! They have generously and kindly agreed to PAY ALL IBRA FEES for EVERYONE!!!!! HOw great is that? Also, they WILL NOT BE CHARGING ANY ADDIONAL FEES TO contestants, no office fees, no timer fees, etc. Soooo, you have voiced your concerns about all the extra fees, they have heard you! Now, it is your turn to let them know you appreciate their efforts! MAKE PLANS NOW TO ATTEND THEIR SHOW AND SUPPORT THESE GUYS!!!! They are doing everything they can to hear you and make they show as 'CONTESTANT FRIENDLY' as possible! I can't personally thank them enough and I know that I will be there supporting them!!!! Don 't forget, that is another great opportunity for you guys to get a chance to earn WILD CARDS right here in your own state!
