"We will be holding a Silent Auction at Crooked Creek on June 17th & 18th. If your coming please bring an item we can auction off or get it to Beth, myself, or Roz. In the past, the amount of money we usually make could purchase two buckles. "

I stole the above off of the front page of the Pennsylvania page. Just wanted to advertise this for everyone as much as possible! _________________ Beth

Almost forgot to mention.
I have nice decals for sale for you truck, trailers, buckets, etc. They have the IBRA logo with PA IBRA on them. They are about 5 or 6 inches wide and about 5 inches tall. I will measure them. They are perfect for in the corner of your truck or trailer window.
I have several different colors. This is going to be a fundraiser for Youth Awards. They are $5 each and I will have them at shows or I can mail you one.
Thanks...Michele |

Folks, I will be at Porchview and Blue Lakes. Go through your stuff and find a newish item you never use or just would like to donate or go out and get a donation from someone. Get them in your truck or trailer and give them to me at one of the upcoming shows.
The items for the silent auction DO NOT have to be horse related! We have had some really neat non-horsey stuff donated in the past that brought us some good funds. _________________ Beth

For the Silent Auction you could even bring a bake good item to have auctioned off. Everyone likes "sweets".
I have some items already that people have donated plus a couple items from Red Eagle.
This is a great way to raise some money for year-end awards.
Hope to see you this weekend! |

The State Finals is only a few weeks away. It's hard to believe the summer is flying by so quickly!!!
If your coming to the State Finals and you need stalls, please try to send your reservations in for them and the money. At this time you can also do your entries but you only need to pay for your stalls.
You can go to the approved shows page and print off the information or give me a call and I send you a copy.
REMINDER....Please don't forget to renew your membership so you State Final points count! I'll have membership forms at the show.
We have some nice venders that will be sitting up so please try to patronize them. We will have a photographer for everyday.
We will also hold a Silent Auction during the show like we did last year. This gives our account to start the new year. Please bring an item that we can auction, I already received a few things. I also will have a Wild Card that I'll be putting in the auction.
If you have any comments, concerns, or questions please feel free to contact me or one of the reps, Roz or Beth.
I will try to keep the standings updated over the next several weeks, check back often. Good Luck to all of you!!!!!!! |

Hey Michele...I know I already emailed you about this, but maybe some other PA members would know some of the places I'm talking about. I'm wondering if we could expand our shows and have them in other areas. It seems like they're all 5 million miles away for me. But anywho...here are some of the arena ideas within an hour of me that I would definately want to look into having IBRA shows at:
Susquehanna Valley Corral
J BAR D Ranch
Moondust Meadows
Buffalo Valley (Not sure of the name of the arena there)
Benton (they have the big Benton Rodeos there)
There are others as well, but these are the big ones. I would be willing to talk to some of the people if it would be a possibility. Anyway...this is just an idea. Let me know what you all think (Michele in particular, since she's the boss. )

Just wondering who all from PA is going to the IBRA Nationals?
I bought tee shirts that were left over from the Print All guy and thought these would be good to wear on "States Night" so we all match. We could also order other tees or sweats if you would like. Just thought it would be neat to match that night.
Let's go down there PA and kick some butt!!! |

Here's who I know that is going to Nationals from PA. Let me here from you if I missed you!
Katie Hott, Chana Whipple, Beth Tobin, Garen Macdonald, Roz & Larry Taylor, Danielle Henry, Emily Leffler, Brenda Herman, Gay Yorlets, Wanda Farrow, Dave Shockey, plus myself and my daughter Quincy.
I do have shirts that I will be taking along that I purchased, if you would like one for State night let me know what size you will take or if you would like one for a family member I'll need to know the size. I may need to try and order a few more. They cost $8 and are really nice, they have the IBRA logo on the front and back.
Good Luck everyone, can't wait to arrive in TN in a few weeks! |
